Amanda Edmiston
A full time professional storyteller I create and deliver sessions and workshops at an array of places and events and to people of all ages. Ongoing work includes regular slots with the parent and toddler group at the Hidden Gardens, for whom I write new work and adapt stories highlighting the gardens and I deliver reminiscence workshops with elderly residents in care homes as part of the Living Voices project being delivered by The Scottish poetry library.
I seek to use storytelling and art to open up possibilities and communicate diverse ideas to audiences, I love how the recurring themes and subjects of stories which resonate with everyone, help bring diverse groups of people together. I've told stories on herb walks with BME women with Glasgow Women's Library, and for GAMH, have worked in collaborative projects with artists and musicians in schools for Feis Ros and for South Seeds, made a short film for The Scottish Ballet, and worked at venues such as Chelsea Physic garden in London, Doune the Rabbit hole and at Edinburgh International Science Festival.
I have also had the pleasure in the last year of being shortlisted for a British Award for Storytelling Excellence. I love the way storytelling can work on a variety of levels and communicate ideas in a different and accessible way, I have found collaborating in Flaming Nora to be a exciting process engendering ideas and creating an immersive and adaptive way of delivering art and storytelling.

Caroline Campbellhttp://carolinecampbellcommunityart.weebly.com/index.html
Studied at Leith School of Art and then in the Sculpture/Environmental Art department at Glasgow School of Art, graduating in 2003. During degree time I worked primarily with video, creating the audio-visual installations, which became the basis of personal practice. I’ve exhibited in a diversity of formal and informal settings, creating one off audio/visual installations in galleries, happenings, mini festivals, for corporate events and in clubs. I’ve been able to capitalise on a multi-disciplinary approach by transferring those skills for arts engagement over the last 9 years. I have delivered projects with The Lighthouse Glasgow’s Centre for Design and Architecture, The Royal Commission for Ancient and Historic Monuments in Edinburgh, House for an Art Lover, Glasgow City Council and for North and South Lanarkshire Councils.
In the last 3 years I’ve been drawn back to painting, which is of great satisfaction, releasing further possibilities for personal practice and also within participatory contexts.
